make a hospital visit. darren mcfadden, some thought it was a upper leg injury and it was being x-rayed, it was negative. he did not break a leg. some officials were worried that would happen. it was an ankle injury. the extent of that and how long he will be out for the second half of the season we will not know till perhaps tomorrow. his backup, mike goodson left with a sprained ankle. there is depth issues here. they continue to have depth problems, depth issues. who comes in for them and that is sometimes the question here. again, it is pretty empty here in the locker room for the raiders as they go down 42-32. >> disheartening to hear mcfadden could miss time there.

shooting. no word on the condition or the circumstances behind the shooting. man is recovering after he was shot this morning in oakland. it broke out at 1:30 a.m. near east 17th street. police say the victim was stable and conscious when he was taken to the hospital. the victim's name haven't been released and police haven't released any suspect information. bar brawl over night left a man with a stab wound. the man was stabbed in the arm during a fight in front of ray's lounge. his injuries are not life threatening. the victim described the suspect as a bald white man, 230 pounds. police say he may have fled in a red chevy pick up truck. police are investigating two separate hit and run collisions over night.

the first happened at 12:30 a.m. the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with major injuries. investigators found the suspect's vehicle and arrested him. he faces felony hit and run. driving under the influence and violating probation. the second incident occurred a 4 miles away -- occurred 4 miles away. a driver slammed into another car. the victim was not injerked and described the suspect's -- injured and described the suspect's car and then officers tracked him down. he hit a guard rail and he was booked on evading police and driving under the influence. hours before the election the candidates are driving hard to win the last few votes. the most expensive campaign in

a two-year-old boy was killed today at a zoo in pennsylvania when he fell into a pen of wild dogs. he fell 14 feet above the exhibit. it is unclear whether he was killed by the fall or by a dog attack. there were 7 dogs at the time. one was shot when it wouldn't move away from the boy. officials say the zoo will be closed indefinitely. to our coverage of the storm ravened east coast. michael bloomberg faced a crowd

authorities in atlanta identified two officers killed in a helicopter crash last night. they were killed in the crash. the helicopter was flying low when it clipped power lines and crashed into a parking lot. >> the loss of an officer is the most difficult thing the chief of police can deal with and magnify that twice. not just me but the entire police department family. >> it was launched to search for a 9-year-old boy who was later found safe. the national transportation safety board is investigating.
